Flow-cytometry-application-note-13-color-panel-t-cell-subsets-whole-blood Contains a comprehensive overview of T cell biology and the implications for multicolor immunophenotyping panel design. Includes a detailed gating strategy for deep immunophenotyping of T cell populations including rare cell types. Also includes step-by-step instructions for setting up the CytoFLEX for multicolor immunophenotyping including use of the Compensation Library.
Flow-cytometry-application-note-8-color-panel-unlysed-whole-blood This whole blood assay does not involve harsh lysis or centrifugation steps, minimizing any cell perturbations from sample handling. This 8-color panel provides a broad survey of peripheral blood leukocytes.
Flow-cytometry-application-note-natural-killer-cells-preeclampsia-model A special population of natural killer cells (uNK) has been implicated in preeclampsia. uNK cells have contact with the trophoblast, modify uterine arteries to promote blood flow, and modulate trophoblast invasion in a dose-dependent manner. In this application note a detailed method for preparing resident NK cells from tissue and an assay to access NK cell activation is provided.
Flow-cytometry-application-note-phagocytosis-of-bacteria-whole-blood Describes an opsonization assay which can be used to assess the phagocytic capabilities of immune cell in whole blood. The benefits of using multicolor flow cytometry for the assay is that different phagocytic potential across various immune cell types can be determined in the same sample.
Flow-cytometry-application-note-dna-binding-dyes-for-viability-assesment Compares viability staining using DRAQ7, DAPI, and 7-AAD in a multicolor immunophenotyping panel. Attributes of each dye are evaluated to aid in selection during panel design.
